At BritWear, your satisfaction matters to us. If something isn't quite right with your order, we've made our returns and refund process as straightforward as possible. Please read below for full details on eligibility, timelines, and how to start a return.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns on items purchased from BritWear delivered within the United Kingdom, for both defective/faulty products and non-defective products (for example, if you've simply changed your mind or the item isn't what you expected).
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
Product Condition
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- New and unused, with all original tags attached
- In their original packaging
- Free from signs of wear, washing, alteration, or damage caused after delivery
Items that do not meet these conditions may be declined or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.
2. How to Start a Return
- Email us at contact@britwear.shop with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and your reason for the return.
- Our customer service team will confirm your eligibility and provide instructions for sending the item(s) back to us.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging (where possible) and send it to the address provided by our team.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome by email.
3. Return Shipping
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. The cost of the return label or postage is not covered by BritWear, except in cases where the item is defective, damaged, or was shipped to you in error — in these cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
4. Exchanges
We're happy to offer exchanges for a different size, colour, or item of equal value, subject to stock availability. To request an exchange, follow the same process outlined in Section 2 and let us know which replacement item you'd like. If the item you want is unavailable or of a different value, we'll process a refund instead and you're welcome to place a new order.
5. Refunds
Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued to your original method of payment. We do not offer store credit or cash refunds unless otherwise agreed with our customer service team.
Refund Processing Time
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we'll process your refund within 5 business days. Please note that it may take a few additional business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
Restocking Fees
We do not charge any restocking fees. You'll receive a full refund for the value of the eligible item(s) returned.
6. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@britwear.shop, including your order number and photos of the issue. We'll arrange a free return, and offer you a full refund or replacement, whichever you prefer, at no cost to you.
7. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items may be excluded from returns and exchanges. If applicable, this will be clearly indicated on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If more than 10 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you still haven't received it, please:
- Check your bank account or card statement again.
- Contact your bank or card provider, as processing times can vary.
- If you still haven't received your refund, contact us at contact@britwear.shop and we'll look into it for you.
